Someones Happy.....

Someone is happy because spring is here... I had a fun photo shoot with Tyrell and the chickens, well pretty much everything... The pictures are getting better everyday... I even have some photography pictures to.

I am planning on being a photographer when I grow up and not to mention a business owner and an accountant....

I did not do any editing on these pictures at all... Tyrell is actually in midair.

Skating

On a Sunday evening Jesse called Darcy and asked if he and us kids wanted to come skating with him at the Memorial Arena. Of course I said yes, even though I was very tired from sledding and walking up the hill so many times in the past week...

We went into Jesse's new 2012 truck that he recently got and Jesse and Darcy were trying to figure out how to upload pictures from his phone onto his computer/truck. They couldn't figure it out so they stopped and did something else on the computer/truck...

When we got to the skating rink we went inside and paid. My feet must've grew because I had to stomp my foot so many times just for it to get it there and stay there! I tied up my skates and went skating with the boys.

Of course the boys have to go very very fast when they were skating, I call it running on ice because they weren't really pushing with their feet like girls do. They were just running. Jesse had these cool skates that he just bought that you push a button that makes air go in the sole and forms into your shape of feet.

I thought that was pretty cool... With evening public skating, we couldn't skate where ever you wanted to, you had to skate round and a round the rink. We even had a staff skate with us just in case we went anywhere we wanted to...

I thought it was fun skating with my brothers. At the end of skating Jesse figured out something, it is way better having the air out of the skate... Another reason was that he bought his skates in Grande Prairie and the girl didn't even sharpen it properly.

One was very sharp and the other wasn't so he said that he would get them sharpen them at AJ's Sports And Cellar...

Canon EOS Rebel

My Brother Jesse bought a Canon EOS Rebel and its used for good photography.... It was expensive but sure worth it all... Jesse didn't use it because he has a camera on his phone and takes really crystal clear pictures so he gave me his camera and I was sooo excited!!!

I have the instruction manual to go with it and it tells you how to get the perfect picture, I of course am used to this simple digital camera and not to the huge big one with tons of buttons, I am starting to get used to it....

I am going to buy a tripod and of course another chip to go with it because right now I am switching back and forth to my camera to this other.... Anyways at sundown I had a fun time outside doing a photo shoot.

A Little Den

Tyrell found this cool den, dangenerous but cool...

Hairdooing With A Side Of Sledding

The Fords came over, Tom,Shane,Victoria, and Sophie... We went sledding down the hill and it was really fun. It was fast and fun but we had to walk up and I almost wanted to just fall down, Luckily Tom and I were picked up by Jesse so we hopped up onto his trailer.

The reason why I was sooo tired was because Tyrell and I have been sledding everyday and walked about 5 km last time so I was sore. Dad said keep doing it and you won't get sore. When I woke up my back and legs were aching!!!

Anyways we played Risk and Apples to Apples, it is fun, I will do another post about that.... I did a half do to Sophie and curled her hair... With Victoria I just did braids because she didn't want her hair curled...

Oh and yes they are identical twins but I can tell them apart by their head shapes....

Snickerdoodles

Snickerdoodles are really good, BUT the only thing is that they are for dipping. It goes all hard after it is cooked so you dip it in milk, I know a few friends that love it. ALISE since you like cookies and dipping in milk you will have to try these...The dough is actually good, Tyrell wanted to eat the whole thing!

So I didn't know that you do tiny tiny pieces and just roll them, I you know did a LARGE one and my cookies really expanded and was really big so my advice to you is do a tiny ball, like a little robin egg if you ever did see one:)

Anyways these are really good and you have to give them a try:)

1 cup butter, softened
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs, well-beaten
2 ¼ cups self-rising flour (If you are using all purpose flour, use 2 1/4 cups flour, 2 teaspoons cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon soda, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. This gives a more authentic version of snickerdoodles.)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

In a large mixing bowl, mix 1 cup softened butter with 1 ½ cups sugar. Add 2 well-beaten eggs, and use an electric mixer to blend thoroughly. Blend in 2 ¼ cups flour, a little at a time, until all of the flour is incorporated into the cookie dough. Form dough into 1-inch balls. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a shallow dish. Roll the cookie balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, if desired. Place cookie balls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking pan or cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees (F) 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly brown and cracked on the top. Remove cookies from baking sheet and place on a rack to cool. You may place these on a flat tray and serve them warm. They are delicious when eaten warm with a cold glass of milk! I hope you enjoy this recipe!
